Submission Guidelines

Here are our submission guidelines:

AUDIENCE: Our audience consists of CEOs of million dollar companies who don’t have a full-out marketing department.  They are looking for just the important marketing information they need to know.  Give them the summary, Cliffs Notes “just the facts” layout of the topic.

TOPICS:   CEOs of companies with no marketing department are primarily interested in topics on Lead Generation, Pull Marketing Strategies, Pricing, Social Media, Web Site Strategies, Market Research, Sales Strategies and how to get and keep customers.

YOUR ARTICLE: Keep your article between 500 and 800 words.  If your article is longer than that – think about breaking it up into a series of posts.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU: Please send your article to ivana@DIYMarketers.com along with a short 2 sentence bio.  I will add you as an author and you will receive a user name, email and password.  Log into DIYMarketers and fill out your profile completely.  Be sure to Select your name to appear as the author –” First Last”  .  Wordpress will ask you how you want your name to appear be sure that you choose your first and last name i.e. Ivana Taylor

You will also need to have a Gravatar profile so that your picture appears in the “About the Author” block.  You can create a profile here — Create Gravatar Profile.

How Often You’ll Post

We’d love to hear from you about once per month.  You can contribute more often or submit multiple articles at the same time – please save them as “pending review”.
