Are you one of those people who comes up with a million ideas and then get’s stuck on implementing because you’re not sure where to take them?
Here are some tips on bringing your ideas to life in less than 30 minutes.
- Buy a domain name: If you have an idea for a potential blog, offering, product, service, training, etc. Quick – run to www.godaddy.com and buy a domain. It will cost you less than $10 and you can reserve that name for at least 12 months.
- Start a blog. A surefire way to vet an idea is to start a blog around it. Run over to www.wordpress.com and open an account. I’d recommend that you open your account under your name and then you can add as many blogs as you like – all for free.
- Point the domain to the blog. Now you want to forward your domain name to the blog space and voila! You’ve given your brainstormed idea a space to grow.
- Start posting your thoughts. Now feed that idea with posts, thoughts and conversations.
If you’re building a personal brand – you might also consider starting a Facebook Fan page around the main topic of your blog. Have fun with this.
